Tips:
- Press play to start; beat 1 (downbeat) uses a higher pitch
- Use the slider, presets, or ±5 to change BPM
- Tap the TAP button in time to detect BPM
- Pick a meter that fits the piece
- Compound meters (6/8, 9/8, 12/8): this metronome clicks every eighth note (e.g. 6/8 = six eighths per bar); players often feel groups of three eighths as one big beat
- Under Sound, switch between the beep and spoken counts (needs TTS). Speech may stutter briefly for the first bar or two.
