About the Author

I’m BlameMagnet, the author of this site. By day I work on protocols, networks, and services; off the clock I’m an instrument and music nerd.

My Chinese handle is 黑锅之王 (Hei Guo Zhi Wang).

I know how confusing serial-number lore can be when shopping for a guitar, and how many tabs you open just to check a rhythm, fingering, or progression while practicing.

So I blend engineering habits with that hobby: turn scattered forum and factory notes into rules a program can run, then into small tools you can use right away.
