Serial Lookup & Year Reference

Höfner was founded in 1887 and is among Germany’s oldest stringed-instrument makers. The 500/1 violin bass became one of rock’s most recognizable instruments through Paul McCartney; President and Verythin models likewise carry Europe’s jazz and rock golden-era memory. A Höfner is a century-spanning tonal journey.
